Do I need my own paddle to play?

No. Paddles and balls are available to borrow at every drop-in session. You do not need to own any equipment to get started. Once you're hooked, we can point you toward the right paddle for your game.

I've never played before. Which program should I start with?

Start with a Beginner Drop-In or the 4-Week Beginner Lesson Series. The drop-in lets you try the game with zero commitment; the lesson series gets you to a solid foundation much faster. Both welcome complete newcomers.

What is the difference between recreational and competitive leagues?

Recreational leagues are for players at the 2.5 to 3.5 skill level - the focus is fun, consistency, and community. Competitive leagues are for 3.5 to 5.0 players who want serious match play and standings that matter. Both run 8-week seasons with playoffs.

How do I know my skill level rating?

If you're new, start at 2.0 or 2.5. Most recreational adult players rate between 2.5 and 3.5 after a season of regular play. We can help you self-assess at your first session - skill level is an honest conversation, not a gate that keeps you out.

Are the tournaments just for advanced players?

Not at all. Our city tournaments include open and intermediate divisions designed for recreational players. You don't need to be elite to compete - you just need to want to play.
